I searched the net for a 2-man gas hedge trimmer. Couldn't find one.

Is there such a trimmer? If not, there should be. Imagine how easy it would be to do a perfect flat-top job on wide hedges. Stihl ought to get to work on designing one.

My arms are still tired from working all afternoon trimming edges.

While they’re at it, they might make a one person trimmer that cuts as well as hand sheers .

Just fix a handle on the end of the one you have so someone else can safely hang on to the other end. Drill & tap a couple of holes, not a big deal.

I could do that but a 2-man 60" blade would make short work of my hedge trimming.

Something like this? Didn't even have to tap any holes. I just used the existing holes and lock nuts.

The extension can be easily removed by unscrewing those black wing nuts.

I still might contact Stihl and suggest a 60" 2-man hedge trimmer.

I would rather have a lightweight trimmer and I might even get a battery powered one since they making them pretty powerful now.

Now all you need is someone the same height as you...
Dad put me to work with a Black&Decker electric when I was a kid.
One morning the orange jessamine hedge was wet from the neighbor's sprinklers.
Don't know if a bad ground or what but I spun around until the trimmer flew away because I couldn't unlock my grip.

Forget the 2-man hedge trimmer idea. Here's what I really need:
