Had to come to town for a doctor’s appointment. Ran into the LGS, a large retailer, to see if they had a CSX. I like what S&W is trying to do, but I’m not overly impressed with the ergonomics of the CSX. If it were DA/SA I might be able to live with it. Going to pass for now!

How does the CSX compare to 3rd Gen pistols? Does the safety do a Hammer Drop or just safe the pistol? Is it standard TDA or ?

I like that it is SA. I've never cared for DA pistols.

Got to handle one at the LGS yesterday. It felt fine in my hand. Beyond that, I could never get used to carrying the P238 so it's a style of pistol that's not suited for me. However its great to have choices and new offerings.
