Welcome to the forum from SW Ohio! For an opinion, I would say that if it is a S&W, find a way to hang onto it.They are easier to hold onto then find a replacement. Good Luck!
 
In my opinion, don't sell. That is, unless it's a pristine Combat Masterpiece with the letters U.S.A.F. stamped on the left side below the cylinder, in which case I'll give you $50 for it sight unseen. Oh heck, make it $75.
