Oh yeah! These guys do love those humpbacks. Not as much as they do the Centennials for some reason.

*sigh* I dunno. I try to talk folks into a Bodyguard over a Centennial each and every chance I get. Especially new shooters. I've tried explaining my "best of both worlds" theory to them, but it either falls upon deaf ears, or somebody happens along and scares them to death about the legendary lint in the shroud, or a dime gettin' in there and locking up the works or the fact that they are just plain fugly.
Yes...they are.
However, what people need to realize is that the mighty J frame was invented to be a plain clothes CONCEALED carry gun. That's why it's named the Chief's Special. It was created to be a gun that gave you no excuse not to carry it. The Bodyguard's design just makes it easier to tote concealed. Somebody wrote once that a concealed weapon should be shaped like a bar of soap. The Bodyguard is about as close as it gets.
Besides...purdy guns is what you show your friends. Ugly guns is what you show your enemies!
