Quick hello to all.Just bought my first real rifle for hunting around this area (Quesnel) decided to join my friends this year to get some moose and deer in the freezer. Bought a 1945 lee enfield for cheap and doing some research on it.

Welcome to the forum! The Lee Enfield in .303 is a fine rifle for deer and moose. One of my early hunting buddies used his Enfield to hunt caribue and moose through-out northern Quebec. They were a great military rifle with a high rate of fire for a bolt action. These rifles were made to be used in any climate or terrain.
