New gun owner. Shot guns before but never actually own/purchase. After spending time with family & friends who are gun enthusiast, decide to get involve. Hooked from there. Completed and made first purchase last month. Happy to be a owner of SW Sd9ve. Was in budget range and heard was a good firearm to train from.

I had the predecessor to the SD, the Sigma 40VE & it was a good gun but it had a kind of hard trigger pull but otherwise it shot just fine. My buddy gave it a try & told me if I ever wanted to get rid of it he'd pay me what I paid for it. He loved it. No fudging there because he was with me when I bought it, LOL. I had recently bought a full size M&P40 from a police trade-in & decided I'd get a 40C for uniformity & he made good on his word. I often wish I would have kept the Sigma but just couldn't afford it.
