Bought my first Smith and Wesson in 1998, a 640-1 2-1/8" .357 Mag. My second one came a year later, a 629-? 4" Mountain Gun .44 Mag. A few years later I inherited a 1917 Hand Ejector .45 ACP from my Dad (and he from his Dad).
More recently, I've decided to move towards the pre-'82 models. Just picked up a 98% condition Carbonia-blued 27-2 8-3/8" that shipped in 1975. She has yet to arrive at her new South FL home, though, so no pics yet.
Other gun interests include the venerable M1911 and AR-series rifles, .308 in particular. I've also been known to conjure up unique .30-'06 handloads for my M70.
