Whats happenin' folks? Kittyhawk78 here (real name's Jesse). I'm a 24 year old aircraft maintainer in the USAF stationed at Luke AFB in Phoenix AZ. Aside from shooting I'm a huge classic car enthusiast, aspiring (and mostly failing) guitarist, and have a huge soft spot for Soul and Motown. Sam Cooke, Jackie Wilson, Otis Redding, Sam and Dave. Can't get enough of it.
As far as shootings concerned I'm primarily a rifleman. At present my personal armory consists of the ubiquitous Mosin M91/30, and Yugoslavian SKS, and a Polytech M14S. I'm also getting ready to pull the trigger on a Molot VEPR in 7.62x54r.
So I just bought my very first Smith and Wesson today, a 1006.
Here she is:
I'm in love with it already. Picked it up private party for $675 with a soft case, 4 magazines (1 white follower, two straight yellow followers and one 45 degree cut yellow follower), a box of 50 FMJs and a box of 20 200gr Hornady XTPs. Let me know what you guys think of her, and hopefully 1 S&W is enough to be accepted around here
