Hi folks,

I just wanted to drop in and say hello to the forum members. I'm in Lakeland, FL, 30 miles E of Tampa. I'm retired from law enforcement and currently work as a fraud investigator. Over the past 40 years I've owned and carried a variety of S&W revolvers, and currently own a 642.

Earlier today I bought a new S&W M&P Shield 40. I certainly hope these run as good as the 9's reportedly do.

I'll be posting here and there.

Thanks for the well wishes folks. I'm anxious to get to the range to try out the Shield 40. I'm liking it even better since I got it home. I have a Glock 27, so I'm used to .40S&W.
