Hello. I've been lurking here for a while now. Have always been a S&W revolver fan. The first one I ever saw was in about 1960 when my Dad became a reserve police officer and bought a Model 10. He would let me look at it if I went and asked. Otherwise it was always up on a high shelf in his closet.
I became a police officer in about 1976 and was issued a Model 15. I immediately put the oversized target grips on it like everyone else. Had to give it up when I left to become a pilot.
Fast forward 35 years and I'm remembering how much I like the old S&W's. Just bought a Model 30-1 with a 3 inch barrel. Been having fun reloading for it. Also have a 6 inch Model 19.
