Greetings everyone. I'm new to S&W as well as to S&W Forum. Right now, I'm waiting for my city's PD to approve my handgun purchase permit so I can pick up the M&P40 with laser grips I purchased a few days ago. This is my first auto. (I'm old enough to remember when revolvers were the only really reliable repeating handgun, so that's all I've ever owned.) I never spend big bucks without doing all my homework, so I really checked out the M&P's. Sounds like they're great guns. I'm really anxious to get it and try it out. I'm looking forward to learning a lot here at the forum.
