Hello From North Carolina!!!

Are you still living around Cullowhee? Sure is pretty country up there. I'm down the hill a bit from you, about an hour east of Asheville. very nice collection of shorties you've got started. I'm a big fan of the older, P&R guns, too, have a small collection of magnums from 1967 to 1981. Welcome to the best gun forum on the 'net.
Hair Trigger,
I am from the Charlotte area of the state! Not far from the SC border/ Lake Wylie area. My family owns an Italian restaurant here and I grew up here in Gaston County.

I really enjoyed it up in Jackson County, wonderful place for an outdoorsman. I spent far too many class hours fishing along the Tuck and Nantahala river haha.
Thanks for the complements on the snubs, cannot seem to stop buying them!
Thanks for the welcome!

Welcome from NYC. It's amazing how many smiles you can get after letting someone shoot a classic S&W wheel gun. Good luck on building the collection!

Welcome from Qc.Ca.
Tell me SJoe,what are the grips on your model 66?
Hello Qc Pistolero,
These are a set of Hogue Hardwood Conversion grips. My m.66 is a round butt, and these Hogue grips convert it to a square butt grip frame.
Love these grips, just recently bought them and they are super comfortable. Shot 50 Magnums through her just yesterday and these grips did great!

NY-1,
That is what it is all about!
Had a few of my buddies shoot some of my snubs a few months ago and they absolutely loved them. Fed them some light target loads that I reload and the guys couldn't miss.
Even got the gals to shoot a few a piece and they weren't too thrown off by them. ;)
It was a good time.

I live in Newton, not too far from Gastonia. All my in-laws are from the Rock Hill/Fort Mill/York area.

I used to shoot regularly at the Gaston Police range, before getting a membership at Catawba Wildlife Club. Every now and again, I still shoot skeet at the Gastonia city range, which is next to the police range just north of town off US321 before you get to I-85.

Welcome to the forum from another North Carolinian. You'll find a bunch of knowledgeable folks here. That's a good looking collection of revolvers.

I have shot there many of times as a child. Lots of LEOs in and around my family. We occasionally have catering jobs to the Wildlife Club as well!
