Greetings everybody. I enjoy living in Portland, OR as well as Tucson, AZ. It is a Yin & Yang thing for sure. Both states border California and are distinctly NOT California. Whether driving into Oregon or Arizona, you can tell by the landscape things are different. Yes there are wonderful places in California like Lake Tahoe but on the whole, I am committed to enjoying the rest of the country at my own pace.

I'm the proud owner of several S&W products and as soon as I discovered there was a forum, I had to sign up.

My oldest piece is a 1948 Military and Police 38 special with 5 in barrel, 5 screw K frame, and blue finish in the box with no discernible wear. Serial number C41XXX. I'm usually a shooter not a collector but this piece is just too nice to shoot. I even have two boxes of ammo from the same period.

Next I have a comfortably worn from use model 59 9mm that is reassuringly accurate. Nice piece

On a whim I bought a Model 52 20 years ago and really enjoy shooting this rather unique semi-auto 38 special. I reload for it now and enjoy how easy it is to shoot.

I've got a 686+ 6in stainless with Crimson Trace grips that is probably my most versatile revolver.

For 22s I am fortunate to have a Model 41 with multiple barrels that is simply gorgeous. I have a fraternal pair of modern S&W 22s, the 22A and 22S. Excellent value and accuracy.

Wrapping up my S&W collection is the affordable Sigma series in 40SW.

My son has a 629 short barrel .44mag from the performance center that is a real handful but essential bear protection when hunting. We are reloading for that as well.

Now that S&W owns T/C I guess I should include those as well but I'll limit it to the one specifically marked Performance Center, the T/C Long Range Rifle, the LRR, in 6.5 Creedmoor. The trigger is the Performance Center contribution and it is impressive.

Well folks, thanks for sharing your forum with me. I consider myself fortunate to be a member.

Cheers
