I never introduced myself. I've been on the board a few weeks and have been busy making friends who love the same things I do... good S&Ws. I actually got into S&Ws and collected quite a few... I just bought what I liked. I worked as a part-time officer on a local dept for 9+ years. I have been involved in historical re-enacting 1740-1840... largely with my horse, Nick. I was heartbroken to lose him a couple of years ago... Nick was 28... We'd been together 24 years. (Longer than I've been married!)
It seems I have Secondary Progressive MS... while I've been busy being sick, my guns have been waiting patiently for me to return & exercise them once again.

Saddle is repro of 1821 Spanish style, carbine is 58 cal flint, can't see the pair of flint pistols in the pomel holsters.
same 58 flint carbine, bfk (Big Friggin Knife) obligitory at re-enacting
