Hello everyone. New to the revolvers but have several I would like to purchase, starting with a 610 (pre lock). What is your opinion on the market currently for revolvers in general, is it a good time to buy or are prices still up???

Welcome from Wisconsin! The best time to buy a firearm is when you have the money to do so. So far I'm stuck at 2 total, both M&Ps, lol.

And a warm welcome from “wild and wonderful “ West Virginia at least that’s what they tell us.

Welcome from the panhandle of West Virginia.
From what I've seen around here, guns are still priced affordably but ammo prices have gone up 2 to 3 times. When ya can find it.

spdjnky 42, welcome from North Carolina. From what I have seen at our 4 gun stores the prices on revolvers is pretty stable. Glad to see another person looking at revolvers.

Welcome from Texas spdjnky 42. Great forum for all things S&W, have fun, learn lots, share what you know.

Prices for revolvers are terrible right now, I mean when I am buying all I can get - - - oops.

Sorry, had to try.

Thanks everyone for the welcome's!!! Good to hear your market is pretty stable. Some others I dabble in, are crazy. Not really a big deal if the value stays after I purchase as I do not really sell anything I buy. I am different from most, I tend to find guns that have an appeal and purchase them, rather than invest in stocks or gold, etc. My great uncle gave me a NIB Browning A5 in 20 ga. Wish it was a 12ga but hey I cant complain. :) I have been stuck buying ever since. I have about 40 different guns and have recently started digging into the wheel guns. I have about 5 already I am interested in, but I usually go for the odd (to my collection) calibers first. I will definitely own a 686 or two before its over.
