Welcome, Texas Oilman.
This is my first post and I just want to say that I am very impressed with the content of this forum. I have owned many a S&W ( Mod 10, Mod 27, Mod 28, Mod 17, Mod 63, Mod 66, Mod 625, Mod 29). As you can see, I gravitate to the older models, especially the slim pinned barreled ones. My most recent folly was relinquishing my 3-in 66 to my son. Now I have to turn my thoughts to the Model 620. Anyway, I am glad and humbled to be among so many of you who have gathered so much more knowledge about the revolver than I have. I spent my 30 years in the Army with my beloved Colt 45's.
