Greetings, and thank you for allowing me to join you all.
I am a grouchy old cuss that is so close to retirement I can smell it. I am also an avid gun collector, with a strong interest in military surplus firearms. I have a modest collection of WWI and WWII rifles from around the world. I have a strong interest in WWII history and a large WWII library.
I have also lately developed a taste for older wheel-guns. I am a bit thin on S&Ws but, I am working on that. My bedside pal is a 65-2, I have a couple of Victory models, and several top-breaks.
I have found that I have a knack for working on the old top-breaks, (when I can find parts) but it seems as soon as I fix one, it gets confiscated by my son who is a S&W collecting nut. It's OK though, I can't own the all!
I wanted to join you so that I could expand my knowledge of Smith and Wesson firearms.
Thanks,
Steve
