Hello Yall-from lower Ms

Welcome from Texas! I used to live in Ocean Springs in the early 80’s. My Dad is still in the area by D’Iberville.

Hi and welcome. I'm from Illinois but I like to fish around the Jimmy Buffet Bridge in Pascagoula.
Hey shoot yeah -Pascagoula is about 20 minutes from us. We actually live in Wade and if you fished alot then you may have fresh water fished some around the river and lakes on wade.vancleave rd.My wife works in pascagoula as well to .

Greetings from the Oregon Coast!

I think you'll like it here.
Hey I drove through Oregon back in 1995 with the wife and a dog and in a old 1968 ford truck that I paid 500.00 for. We looked like Beverly hillbillies driving that thing. It had no heat,no Ac,no Ps,no Pb and had a 390 with 3 speed standard.I flew from here down where I was raised in Ms to Seattle to do some construction and whats crazy I met my wife now up there on holloween night when they were broke down in the rain . Next thing I knew we were married in january. I told her I was not getting back on another plane after flying up there(scared me ).We blew a rear main seal actually coming through Oregon and the ol truck used more oil than gas-lolo-Anyway Thank you for having me aboard here.

Cool - I got to Diberville to see the ole doc. Its actually close to to us and we sometimes go to Home Depot over there. We actually live in Wade which is about 20 minutes north of Pascagoula.
We built some houses in Ocean Springs but if you got out of here in the 80s,you missed our Katrina then.I was young when Camille hit but still remember some. I sure am glad I talked to yall.

I remember Katrina well. I was in D’Iberville visiting my Dad a couple days before it hit. I tried to get him and my step-mom to leave and come to Texas with us, but they refused. We knew it was a big storm heading our way, but didn’t realize just how devastating until after it hit. After all the hurricane parties with all the previous “weaker” storms, none of us were prepared for what Katrina was about to bring! So my cousin and I loaded my pickup with food, gas, water and supplies and headed back two days after it hit to look for them after seeing all the death and destruction on the news. Of course, cell towers and land lines were all down, so we couldn’t even talk to them to see if they were even alive. Luckily, they were alive and well, so we stayed a good bit for the cleanup. Typical Mississippi hospitality - folks kept offering me food and water when they saw the Texas plates in my truck thinking we were stranded with no gas to get back home! But yeah, that was one crazy storm and aftermath!
