I got into handloading about 47 years ago, as it was the only way to keep my prize 6" Mod. 28 Highway Patrolman fed on a regular basis; and that's when ammo was really Cheep, as compared to today's situation. I enjoy the whole process, and load most rifle cartridges on my original RCBS A-2 press, which is a very heavy frame press. I have 2 Dillon 350's that I use for all my handgun loading; 10 calibers in all from .380 to .45 Long Colt. I was a Bullseye shooter for 8 years and cast my own bullets for my Series 70 Colt .45acp Gold Cup and .38/.357 mag. Fortunately, I hoarded several hundred pounds of wheel weights, lino-type and a hundred pounds of 50-50 solder, so one of these days I'll get back to casting.
