Reporting aboard. Hope I don't have to hot bunk like I did in 1960 when I checked into that old sub shown in my avatar.

I'm a retired electrical engineer and have lived less than 2 miles from a rod and gun club for 28 years. Last year I got curious about the banging, checked it out, bought a subcompact 9 and started shooting. One year later and I've gone through 8 semi autos and recently picked up a 617 and new generation Model 66. If I had gotten the 66 first I would have saved a lot of money. That gun is a perfect fit for me.

I also have a Dillon 550B press and make my own 9, 40 and 38 rounds. 357s to follow shortly.

Howdy from South Carolina, and welcome to the forum.

You need to get those other guns to make a proper comparison. ;)

Welcome from an old DBF man! USS Chopper(SS342), '59-'60, Key West. I wasn't aboard too very long, just enough to qualify & a little longer. Went to UWSS, then UDTR , then UDT 21 & eventually SEAL Team 2 shortly after the Teams were formed. Got out for quite a few years & went in the Army where I retired with 27 years. Many a day I wished I would have stayed in the Boats, LOL. My body wouldn't have been as beat as it is, LOL.
