New member from TN. I am a life long shooter, handloader and bullet caster. Now in my later years I no longer shoot competition but still enjoy getting to the range and just plain handling my firearms. I only have 4 Smith & Wesson handguns at present a Model 57, 6", Model 396, 2.5" and a fairly recently acquired Model 52 and 15, 4". Many years ago I had a Model 27, 6" and a model 29, 8 & 3/8". Should never have parted with the 27 as it shot everything from wad cutters to HP's well and worked with just about any powder/primer combination. It was a very accurate pistol for me. I never quite got the hang of the 29. I think if it had been a 6" like my 27 or the 57 I have now I would have done better with it.
