Help a Ladd with Moon Clip question

I bought a batch (don't remember exactly how many) of the Rimz plastic clips. I only have about 1/3 of them left as they frequently break. I was under-whelmed to say the least. Ranch Products is my source from now on. (smiley face goes here)

Good advice on rims and tools. Now, how about some suggestions on how you carry your extra loaded rims for your concealed carry .45's. Pockets, belt clips, pouches, etc.

Hey I posted that I found a nice 625 and nobody told me to run (go figure) so I am going to pick up today or tommorrow

It comes with a few steel moon clips so I thought I would order a few more and get the Brownelles tool that looks like a screw driver and be done

I was at Williams Gun Site yesterday and Steve told me about plastic ones sounded like that would be very easy and even cheaper. What do you use?
Also what the best source?

Thanks Hank

Why not buy rim cases for it?

Just drop one in the pocket, for holding more I made this contraption.

Honestly for CC I'd probably buy 1/2 or 1/3 moons just for that purpose. They'll be easier to keep in a pocket then a full moon.

I saw a post last week somewhere and the person wrote Brownell/ranch clips. Who makes Brownell's moon clips?

I like to shoot 1911s and part of the appeal of this is gun is not another caliber (type) ammo to stock
Not to mention that 45ACP is easy to find and cost effective (cheap)

Moon Clips.

I use only S&W Moonclips, they always work perfectly and are made for my weapon. It`s not about money..it`s about quality.

S&W, Brownell, and Wilson Combat, are probably all made by Ranch and repackaged. I can't find any difference between S&W, WC, and Ranch moons.
