I have a K-22 (model 17 with no suffix) built in 1959. It has a four-screw frame, is pinned and recessed, has the wide target hammer and trigger and is fitted with Herrett's target stocks. The serial number is K380xxx and the crane is also marked with 56319 over 8 over N. The finish is virtually perfect, save a "turn ring". The bore is bright and clean and the action is tight and properly timed. I have owned this revolver since 1990. I do not have the box or papers or the original S&W grips.

Can you please help me determine the fair-market value of this fine old target gun?

That K 22 looks to be in good shape. I would guess around $650.00 to maybe $700.00 Those Herretts are love em or hate em . If you have some magna's or targets you don't need. you might could use them to sweeten the deal with an individual buyer. Unless you have another k 22 or need the funds, I would keep it. it will appreciate over time and be fun to shoot as well.
