That revolver should have a MADE IN USA on the other side of the frame. It would be called a Military & Police, 4th Change revolver and would have shipped around 1923. The large mushroom shaped extractor rod knob indicates it was made before 1927 and if it has a MADE IN USA stamping it was added in 1922.
There should be a caliber stamping on the right side of the barrel, since both 38 Special CTG (Cartridge) and 32-20 CTG were available in the 1920s. The stocks are much later, well after WWII ended.
