I have (2) grip adapters. They appear to be constructed from black rubber w/copper clips held on by a tiny slotted screw.

One is marked:

"Sure Grip"
Fray-Mershon, Inc.
L. A. Calif.
7

The other is marked:

"Sure Grip" Adapter
Mershon Co., Inc.
Glendale, Calif.
9

I think Mershon's was a police supply store, active in the 1960's era. If you have some J,K, and N frame revolvers, try them on with some magna grips and see if they fit. They are cool old adaptors. Some other gripologist will chime in and edumacate us all soon! Waistgunner

They're exactly what they are marked. Fray Mershon became Mershon and was eventually bought by Pachmayr which continued the line. Pachmayr manufactured these for sale under their own brand and by some house brands, including Smith & Wesson.

Thanks for the information. Anyone care to hazard a guess as to what they are worth? I have no use for them.

Karma time?

Maybe you should find out what they are worth first.
In case they are collectors items and cost three zeros
