help on ammunition

I need some help . Anyone KNOW what the muzzle Velocity /Or what Flobert-Rundkugein 6mm BB amunition energy is. Can it be shot in a 1st mod.2nd issue smith & wesson in good condition.?

I have no idea of what this particular caliber is, however if it's truly a 6mm caliber it's too large for a 22 caliber barrel. Six millimeters converts to a .236 caliber in the inch system, so that ball would be much too large for the bore.
 
Well they certainly are not 6mm but .222.
I have some of these and even just using the calipers I'm reading .223.

Checking Wikipedia it lists the BB cap at 700fps for an 18 grain ball.

The Flobert always seems louder to me that the CCI CB caps.

I shoot them in a Hamilton rifle the cheapest .22 made. It has a bronze tube with sheet steel soft sodered around the bronze.

I would think you could shoot these in the old guns as there is no powder and a very light projectile. Flobert makes CB caps too.

Have fun, they are loud in a handgun.
