Help requested-4506-1 Odd s/n

Yes, Great outcome, Great price and Great gun! Congratulations.

Just yesterday I was responding in another thread that I have seven .45s. All of them are generally considered to be of the highest quality. BUT THE ONE I LOVE TO SHOOT IS MY 4506 no dash with fixed sights! After I got the correct stocks for me (Hogue rubber) it has become my all time favorite gun to shoot. I know it will go bang every time I pull the trigger and the POA and POI are nothing short of amazing. I just remembered that you have two others so I guess I didn't need to tell you that! Oh well, when you get old you don't mind telling the same story over and over and over.......

If its out of state listed on armslist RUN from it
Amen brother its sad that the Nigerian Scam artist have figured out how to run some tempting adds on Armslist . There are usually very convincing multiple pics and the adds are well written. Its not until they say I will only accept WalMart pay which is similar to Western Union. The golden rule is if you cant do a FTF transfer you dang better do your due diligence om making sure you are not getting scammed.

I was trying to figure out how to post a few pictures that I have on the computer but they are not hosted on any website so not sure if I can.... in the interim, here is a quote from the seller:

"God Bless you all, and thank you once again Sir for buying the gun, but more than that, as I mentioned before, for having faith in me to send you a gun. I will be honest now that it is done, I couldn't of done what you did. I am sure there is recourse for those out there who are not honest, but it would take a lot of time, and probably be costly to do anything about it. I really don't know how it would be handled, but there are plenty of folks out there who will rip off anyone they can, anytime they can. I am for sure not one of them, not even a penny! I knew what kind of person I am, but you had no idea, and I thank you for your trust"

You don't get to read happy endings that often and wouldn't advise anyone to blindly trust an Armslist seller from out of state but it worked out well for all concerned in this case.
