A local shop has a Model 10-9, 95+% condition with Hogue grips, for $485.

She said that she would work with the price and I was thinking of trying to get it for $400.

The SN is BSH8553, but I can't find BSH listed as a prefix in the Standard Catalog.

Anyone have any info on manufacture date and price?

ETA-Box and papers included

All of the Alpha prefixes are not listed.........if I had to guess, I'd say 1995.
IMO, even the $400 is a tad high for a 95% Model 10 (UNLESS it is a 3" barrel).
In my neck of the woods, you can usually find Like new in box Model 10's in the $400-$450 range as they made millions and millions of model 10's

I hate living in Maryland. there's a 20-30% premium on everything.

I sympathize. But how about California - one handgun a month limit, 12 day waiting period, mandatory safe for storage, has to be a state-approved handgun or more than 50 years old or it is illegal to buy...

Now note my location as "Midwest USA".
