Nice rifle. I've always liked M 70s; at one time I had 6 of them from 458 to 6.5 Swede. Have none now. I may change that. The best of all possible worlds for me would be a nice, accurate M 70 in 30-06 as I don't load for the 270, and an 8 3/8 inch pre 27 in 357. I've got a 27-2 so I'm pretty close on that one.
Heresy? Maybe. My new rifle.

Thanks! I am fond of the 6.5mm/.264 cartridges, and I hope to some day add one to my array. In the meantime, this .277 is an available and fun to shoot caliber.
