Years ago, my wife got her CCW training at Marksman. Good people in her opinion.
Pima Pistol Club might be a bit of hike for you. We live about 10 miles away. In addition to being close, the costs are attractive and shooting outdoors is more fun, in my opinion, than a noisy indoor range. YMMV, especially this time of year when daytime temperatures are high. ;)
I usually shoot my Garand each week early on Tuesday morning with a few other "old guys".
Without a membership, the "day shooter" cost is $10/person for the entire day. If you like it, you can sign up at the end of the day and have the day shooter fee applied to your membership.
