HEY GUYS!! New member here!!!! Check me out!

Lol thanks again guys. I am going to shoot the gun a little bit more before I do the spring kit. I wish I knew someone around my area who had one with the springs already in. I put about 180-200 rounds through it the first night I took it to the range. Kept pulling left anticipating the shot waiting for the trigger to break. Was much different than my fathers 659 and my buddy's sig.45

Welcome from Cincinnati, and congrats on the SD9VE. I really like mine and have had no failures. I left my trigger stock and have gotten used to it.

Welcome from Cajun Country.
I already own the SW9VE & SW40VE. I just recently bought my SD9VE from my son. He only put about 100 rounds through it and decided he wanted an M&P instead.
To my SD9VE I added a factory S&W M&P rear sight, a Galloway 20# Glock G19 stainless steel guide rod, and a Galloway wide take down bar.
Of all of the aftermarket parts, IMO, that was the best investment is the wide take down bar. Removing the slide is 1K times faster than with the factory bar. It might seem trivial to others, but, I find removing the slide quickly and so much easier now.
The G19 SS guide rod is $12 cheaper than the Galloway S&W ss guide rod. And, it fits perfect. It sure helps keep muzzle rise down.
The factory SD9VE rear sight is a joke. It's plastic and there are no indentations to paint the dots. The factory M&P rear sight is metal and has indentations for the white painted dots. Brownell's sells them for $14 and change. DON'T FORGET THE SET SCREW
One last thing; this pistol will shoot ANY type/kind/make of 9mm ammo. It eats like a hog and is built like a tank! :D

So as promised, an update on my SD9VE. I shot it again with the factory trigger, and decided I really didn't like the pull. So I took the entire gun down and installed the APEX tactical polymer trigger, and APEX spring kit. Went back to the range and was instantly pumped. I love it now, I put about 100 rounds through it with the new stuff in it. And it is so smooth, and so much easier to sight up and keep it there while I'm pulling the trigger. Honestly it feels like a completely different gun. And my Talon grips just came in today so I put them on when I got home from work. Supposed to go put some rounds through her tomorrow, the grips feel great in my hand, can't wait to feel them while firing!!! Money well spent

Oh and I put my extended take down bar in as well, and it makes it a heck of a lot easier to hold on to. Another great 9$ addition to the SD9 id say!
