My first order of business was to plug my internal lock. Lost a sear spring doing it - damn thing flew across the garage into the next dimension.

Couple of ideas for you.

First, you might start a thread in the Second Amendment Forum to explain what you had to go through to buy a gun in new Jersey.

Second, go onto the Wanted to Buy Forum ans ask about the availability of a polished Tyler-T - read the rules before you post anything.

Third, send a PM to bgmntman and ask him about elk stocks for your 686; many of us have his stocks and we all love them. Here's a picture to whet your appetite:
