Very glad to have found this site. After reading so much positive feedback on 3rd gen S&W semis, I decided to drink the kool-aid and just ordered a 6906 and a 5906 from CDNN. The way I figure, I can carry the 6906 once I get my permit while the 5906 should be a workhorse when I hit the range. I have handled a couple of 5906's and really liked the way they fit as well as the overall solid feel to them. I will provide pics and initial impressions once they arrive next week.

Thanks everyone for the welcome. I just picked up my Smiths from the LGD and am very pleased with the condition of the guns Kudos to CDNN! I will try and post pics tomorrow on the semi forum.
