When I logged in this morning for the first time after joining it said I should stop by and say Hi, so I am.
Just a little background: I have always loved S&W's and also Colt's. My first revolver was a Colt Peacemaker in .22lr that I bought as a 17 year old in 1973. My next revolver was a S&W M28 that I bought when I was 21 in 1977. My older brother liked it so much, he traded me a Colt Python for it in 1978. I still have the Python but have always felt bad letting the 28 go. It was a superb shooter.
After that, I could not afford to buy anything because of getting married, going to college, and having a family. It wasn't until 2005 that I felt I could afford another toy, when I bought a S&W M 657.
Now I am finally getting to the point where I can afford to start buying some of the revolvers I have always wanted. And I am looking for a nice S&W K-22, but not in a hurry. I haven't decided if I will start collecting, but probably not. More than likely I will concentrate on buying nice shooters that I can pass along to my 3 sons (My daughters don't like to shoot). Only 1 of my 6 kids has graduated from college and she wants to go on to nursing school, so they all still need my financial assistance.
Anyway, that is a long hello. I will not be a voluminous poster, but may contribute from time to time.
