Welcome. Not sure that S&W is up to an 11th upgrade to the model 10, certainly not in .38 S&W. The hammer makes it appear to be a long action gun, so somewhere before about 1955, which would make it a Military & Police. Barrel markings not centered on the barrel show the barrel was shortened, but VERY well done. Looks very good.

The barrel of your revolver has been shortened.If the calibre is 38s&w, not special it is a model 11 or pre 11. The ejector rod end and the serial number leads me to believe it is pre war.
