Hello all, i seen this froum today while i was srufing on the internet for some info on a guide rod for the sigma. I checked out the site and i really dig it so i thought i would join up! Glad to be here and can't wait to check out the Sigma forum on here!
Here is a quick rundown on my siggy.
S&W Sigma .40VE.
Picatinny rail adapter.
NcSTAR green laser/LED light combo.
Houge slip on grip.
Pigtail spring removed.
Polished sear/lightened outer sear spring.
Soon to come: Wolf steel guide rod and recoil spring and Duraglo painted sight's.
A few pics:
I know there is no real need for the steel guide rod, but if i'm already doing this much to it i might as well spend $30 on that, lol. This is pretty much my project gun, i don't have a ton of experience with gunsmithing and i thought this would be an interesting way to start. I have to say, i have shot a glock 19 and para 1911. For well under $300 i'm shocked this is a very nice gun with the little bit of work i have done to it.
I'm hoping to hear from you all and get the chance to learn a bit more about S&W's awsome pistols!
Mike.
