I just found this website and looks like the place to be to share my passion for collecting Smith & Wessons. I've been collecting and S&W firearms since 1977 when I first got into law enforcement except for a couple of years when a chief I worked under made me carry a Glock (carried my model 59 in a shoulder holster). When he left so did the Glock!
I've been collecting Smiths for about as long as I've been carrying them. I have several by several friends who retired from police work over the years. They don't look like much but mean a lot to me.
