Just purchased a used 629 with a 6 inch barrel from a pawn shop. Serial #BHS8854 When was it made? approx worth? It is in 90% condition.

If I knew the appropriate place I would have put it there instead of here, but I didn't know if it was pre 1980 or post 1980. It would have been nice for you to have given me S&W customer service line. Quite frankly this forum is sooo hard to get into with all that camchacta feces, and this organization of the guns beats all I've ever seen, I'll not be back. Good day!!!
