Greetings from the Pacific Northwet(where it is currently 28 degrees)-- some of you may recognize me from other gun forums. I've been collecting guns for thirty years, but somehow I only ever owned one S&W, a mint 657 given to me by an uncle about thirteen years back. Then last week I bought a 1076 from a guy I know, took off the grips during inspection and promptly lost the decocker-return spring. In searching the Web for a decent exploded diagram to figure out where this little spring went, I found this site and figured that I should probably join, now that I own more than one pistol of the marque. (We did finally get the spring reinstalled.) Nice bunch of guys you have here! And Mr. Jinks is a serious asset. I have to be honest and let y'all know that I actually inherited the Colt gene from my forebears, but I'm warming up to the old classic wheelguns more every day. I'll be back in periodically.
