I just got here a couple of days ago and I forgot to introduce myself. I have been a hunter and shooter since 1964, am a retired teacher, and after retirement worked for a few months as an armed security guard at the Kodiak missile base, at the local hospital, and at the construction site of the huge windmills that supply Kodiak City with electricity. Before Kodiak, where I lived 29 years, I lived 7 years in Montana, 2 years in California, and 27 years in Italy, where I was born. Now I live in Alabama in a rural area, where I hunt for hogs, deer, turkeys and doves. As a new hobby I raise backyard chickens. Right now I have 44 Australorps two Plymouth Rocks, four black bantams of unkown breed, and two green eggers. I am building another house and covered fence to raise some Narragansett turkeys. I also have a horse, a Tennessee Walker, palomino. I am an old fart, but I still hunt by myself. My wife hunts, too. My pride and joy is my Kubota RTV, and I also have an Argo 6x6 that I used a lot more when I was in Alaska. I like this forum. I hope I can learn here a few new tricks even though I am an old dog...
