Got my first hand gun yesterday, have always shot rifles and shotguns since a kid. Don't know a thing about this gun. Where do I go to get a owners manual? How do I find out about gun it is a 38 S&W spl.on the barrel and the s/n is 26473 found on the bottom of grip frame and the barrel. Is it very old looks to be in very good shape. A little hesitate to go an fire it for the first time. thanks if you can help

With what information you have already provided start off by visiting the S&W Hand Ejectors: 1896 to 1961 section, post some good pictures and as much information as you can, my guess is that someone will follow up with some information for you.
