Despite nearly 60 years of reloading experience, I truly managed to screw up: In a moment of inattention, I placed a bullet on the charged casing at the charging station of my Dillon 550, and sent it home, breaking approximately $30.00 worth of parts, including the connector body collar, part of the automatic charging system.

I called Dillon Precision with my credit card handy, ordering the necessary parts to restore the powder system. Much to my surprise and with my ready admission of momentarily having my head where the sun don't shine, Dillon advised that they would replace the parts I broke free of charge. Now, that is what I call service. I remain firmly in their camp.

The Dillon fans were bought and paid for! With great service, and the no Bravo Sierra warranty!

My 550b started life in 1984 as a 450 before Dillon went customer direct! I paid about $100 more for the experience, but If I thought it was a good deal for more money, I can't understand why everyone didn't buy one for an even better price!

This company and RCBS is really a great company, for those of us that some times have an "Over sight" as I call them..........

since I NEVER make a mistake.

I did a lot more shot gunning in my younger days so I have a Hornady 366 and never got a "Auto" for my pistol/revolver loadings.

I do a lot less shooting in my "Silver years" so the single stage does ok but for those that have one, more power to you.

Hornady didn't invent the 336, they bought the design when they bought Pacific! Their design for a shotgun loader was the Apex, and it was a dismal failure! After Dillon came onto the scene Hornady cam out with the 07, then the 007, then the first of the Lock-N-Load & L-N-L AP ect. They spent more time trying to not copy Dillon, then they spent trying to make a press that works! I still have my Dillon, I got rid of that Hornady piece of junk over 5 years ago! For shot shell loaders I own 8 MEC's (Grabber 410-2.5"; 600 Jr 410-3"; Sizemaster and Grabber 28, 600 Jr 20; 9000G 12; 600Jr 12 6 point paper hulls & a 600 Jr for oddball plastic 12's) I never tried anything else, because the MEC's didn't need fixed!

I live basically within walking distance of Dillon's and buy everything I need reloading wise this. I wish other companies would provide their kind of service.

Growing up dad had a RockChucker and my uncle had a Redding that I learned how reload on in the 70's. Dad got a 450 and I would visit a couple times a year to load up a couple 1000 rounds. Dillon upgraded him to a 550 when he cracked the frame. I finally stole his RockChucker and bought a 550B. My Brother-in-law got dad's 550 when he passed. Both RCBS and Dillon are tops with their warranty.

X2!!!.........MEC and Dillon!!

My nearly 30 year old Dillon electronic scale started reading inconsistently and requiring zeroing between measuring loads. I called Dillon today and they gave me an RMA number and said to ship it back and they’d send me a new one.

Fantastic service and products.

Sent a dillion 550b back to be refurished, was sent back looking brand new and no charge for the repairs, great customer service
