A while back I found out my old tumbler was on recall from MidwayUSA. ( http://smith-wessonforum.com/reloading/713450-what-tumbler-you-using.html?highlight=tumbler ). I called them and was pleasantly surprised when Customer Service told me their almost 30 year old recall was still in effect. I waited until the Christmas rush was over and packed it up as instructed and shipped it to them. They received it last Saturday, and notified me of such. Monday morning I received another email stating it was processing. About an hour later, I received another email stating it was shipped and will be here on Friday. Also got notice from the carrier of the estimated delivery date of Friday. To me this is fabulous treatment, especially this time of year. Must commend them for there prompt action.

I've used Midway USA a lot for reloading components for like 20 years. They don't always have the best prices but their service and shipping has always been great for me.

Most often when I order from them I have it in 3 days, sometimes less. And the orders are always correct.

They are good to deal with. Not sure if it always happens, but it seems that if I put something in my cart and wait a few days before ordering it, a deal for free shipping over 75 bucks pops up at the top of the screen, or at least so many dollars off a purchase above a certain amount.

Good information. I have one of their tumblers from that era. I remember getting the recall notice and filing it under "when I get around to it". Needless to say it never happened. It was an overheating / fire risk issue I think. I'll send it back next week. Yeah, right.

Yes I'm not sure of the frequency or what the criteria is but I'd bet like 7 or 8 of every 10 orders I make from them are free shipping.

Yes, it was an overheating/fire issue. However, if I can get a new one for free after almost 30 years, I am all in for that!

I generally avoid Midway-branded products like Frankford Arsenal and Caldwell, but have bought a couple of their inexpensive vibratory tumblers over many years. Both have been well worth the money and have given good service over a long time even when used two or three times a week.

When I have go to the Truman VA in Columbia I make it a point to order any powder, primers or ammo that I need for curbside pickup avoiding shipping/HAZMAT charges. Anything I order for home delivery is delivered in 1-3 days. Great company to deal with.

I have used Frankford Arsenal products for many years. They are always good quality and a good value.

I bought one of their tool kits one time; junk. I returned it and spent twice as much for basically the same type kit at Brownells, but it was of good quality and well worth the extra expense.

I'm puzzled - I'm about 75 miles east of them and it takes about 5 days for me to get an order. Some of my orders go to Kansas City first before coming back east.
I like their prices, selection and website but for me the delivery recently has been terrible.
It seems like they changed their delivery process several years ago. I used to get orders quickly.
Before I retired I normally passed by them on Hwy. 70 every other week or so and just picked the stuff up. I could still do that but I calculated my gas cost and the shipping fee is less.

My new tumbler came in today. I mailed out the recalled one on 1/2/24 and got the replacement 1/12/24. Great response from Midway. This one tumbles quiet enough that it lets me think. Thank you MidwayUSA!

I’ve been a satisfied Midway customer for decades…never had any cause for complaint. My latest order — some .32 ACP ammo for my new Seecamp — arrived yesterday, only four business days after I ordered it.

I ordered a Lyman sizer and luber die on Dec. 30, 2023. The cost of shipping the small, but expensive item ($39.00) was $5.00. I contacted Midway on Jan. 10, 2024 and told them that it looked like my shipment was in limbo. They responded yesterday and said that it was out for delivery, but I always have the option of upgrading (spend more) the shipping method. I did get it yesterday, but I thought the wait time was extreme, even though there was a holiday involved. I have been a customer for many years and shipping always seems to be their weak link.

I've used Midway often and orders always arrive earlier than expected. I have one of their range bags. I overfill it and abuse it and if it was cleaned it would look like new. So I bought one of their back packs and it came with a torn strap. Called and it was no problem returning and getting something else. New bag same quality as the range bag. Quick and easy. I usually check them first, then check prices at other websites and end up back at Midway. My only complaint is that they run out of defensive ammo quickly.
