Bought my wife and me M&P15 OR's for Christmas.
Picked them up at Quantico Arms for $750 each with the S&W Heroes discount. Also getting $100 rebate back on one.

Welcome to the forum...a family that shoots together has a lot of fun together....there are some targets that are like the old "battleship" game. My wife and I like to play it, we used to have to trade the rifle back and forth but now we dont and she is happy. instead of putting the pins on the board you shoot the square with the rifle. It is a fun game. There are also others.

That sounds like fun, we will have to give it a try.

Great Christmas gifts!

If that is a plastic sight (Magpul MBUS perhaps), better replace with steel or you will have a melted mess out front!

:)

That is a magpul on the front, it will melt if your not careful plus it appears to be backwards but I am not 100% positive, So does the Mrs get the sweet eotech? Mine always lays claim to the nicest rifles..LOL

That's terrific. Congrats to you both. Great deal btw...

Yep, I ended turning the front sight around the proper way.
Wife got the EoTech, mine is a Burris Tac 30.
I haven't had any problems with the front sight melting even when the barrel gets hot. Time will tell though.
