Hodgdon Universal?

Is this powder any good for 38 +p loads? I have about 4 pounds of it and have no other use for it.

Universal should do fine for +P 38 loads. With the higher pressure it should burn pretty cleanly.

I run 158gr lswc with 4.6gr of the universal, it's a hole lot of fun with good clean accurate loads.

As said Universal is a good choice for the .38 Special +P. It is a lot like Unique without the dirt and it meters much better. It also lists some respectable velocities too.
