Hogue, Farrant and Hurst J frame grips

Another J frame set by Guy Hogue. There is a little bit of flare at the bottom.There also are shadow grooves cut on the backstrap, base and on the bottom finger groove. The rosewood is highly figured on the right panel.

Great photos and quite a bit of history here. I would imagine the thumb rest set was made "just because" Or maybe for a LEO that liked to clean up on some side bets, something like that. Regardless they are very interesting.
