Holster for a 4” m-422

Looking for outside the waist carry option. I’ve heard that the holster for a m-39 will fit but have never seen any pics of one . Looking for suggestions or pic of what others use .

Oddly, a 1911 holster may work if it is not too tightly boned. Tanker style leather and the Bianchi fabric military holsters work ok with a 6' 2206. Might want to try it with a couple of commander sized holster and see if one will work for you.
Or order one from El Paso Saddlery to get an exact fit.

I went though same thing. Couldn’t find suitable holster. Any store bought was lousy universal fit. I carried 422 while fishing, wading.
Had to have secure holster so I modified a no name lined holster to fit.

Holster for Colt 1903 or 1908 might work. Similar in size.

I added a small piece of leather inside below the trigger guard to make this S&W B10 39 work for my 422.
