...........or play guns from days gone by. Whatever their were made for they work well in the holster making craft. These are ones I have found for my wife as she starts to make holsters.

She won a blue ribbon at the State Fair with the tooled one on the left.She also tooled the wallet and checkbook cover. The dark brown holster with the DS is an S.D. Myres.

My congratulations to your wife on her award. Very attractive carving, nicely executed. Those are "dummy gun castings", often mistakenly described as "molds". That's because they are fabricated in a mold. You've been fortunate to find them, as nearly each of them, have been out of production for quite some time.

Cheers;

She does nice work....looks like she hand stitched that holster?
If you really loved her you would buy her a stitching machine if she's gonna be making holsters.:p

Thank you Gentlemen, I will pass on to her your kind comments. They will be very appreciated, especially due to the master craftsman skill that some of you posses.

Now Jessie you are trying to get me in trouble with her.:)

Really nice work! My husband makes leather and kydex (sp?) holsters but hasn't done as much tooling. Really beautiful job and something I'd like to own!
