Holster Options for a Model 65

Just picked up a Model 65 in 3 inch, would like to start carrying this as my everyday carry, need some help on the best holsters out there, OWB .. IWB.

Mother's day morning .....I feel like I'm just giving out advice like........... Ann Landers........ while "Mom" sleeps in!!!!!!


I like Milt Sparks holsters......IWB... I've carried a 3" 65 and 3" 66 in a Summer Special since the mid/late 80s!!!!!!


As bonus advice....LOL....... I use a Safariland "Split-six" to carry one or two of their "Comp I" speedloaders

I carry mine in a desantis scabbard...It's passable but I will be upgrading....if run the belt outside the holster through the loops it conceals very well even under a t shirt. Body type plays a part too

Simply Rugged

I have a Simply Rugged holster for my Model 65 3 inch. It converts OWB to IWB. Effective rig.

I like how high that rides...everyone else almost makes own that ride so low you ca t draw effectively

I use a DeSantis.

I own two of the DeSantis holsters and a PWL.

I carry a 3" M10 in a Rodek Leather, Inc. paddle holster. I also have one for the 2" M15. Moderately priced, great quality.

I carry my 65-3 3inch in a Lobo enhanced Avenger. Great holster! I EDC my 65-3 3in in the Enhanced Avenger. Very comfortable and concealable!

After a lot of research, I bought an Andrews Custom Leather, strong side, tension hold, Saddle Style - for my M640-1. It is unbelievably comfortable on my hip, conceals effectively - w/ minimal cover garments, enables very smooth presentation from concealment, & re-holsters easily.

Like it so well in fact, I've got another one on order for my 3" M65-3.

Mr. Andrews has a pretty good backlog, but worth the wait - if you can hold out...
