Would you be willing to share what your favorite Shield+TLR6 holster is?

Prefer OWB right now as I don't have my CCL but would still like to open carry for the time being.

Thanks in advance :D

I just got my Shield and the other day received two holsters I ordered for it. Both from Galco. One is their 'Tuck-N-Go' and the other is their holster that goes inside your pocket.

I normally carry my larger guns in shoulder holsters. But, was looking for holsters I could carry this small gun on or around my waist area. Like when I wear shorts and a tee-shirt.

(Edit) I got a real good price on the Shield and one reason I chose the holsters I did was because they were not expensive. I did not want to 'wreck' or spoil the good price I got on the gun by spending a lot of money on its 'wardrobe'. :)

That's one of the problems with putting a laser or light on your gun, it drastically reduces the number of holster options available.

Check out https://www.daraholsters.com/. They will make whatever you want. I have purchased a few holsters from them now and have been extremely pleased with the product.

I attached a picture of my most recent purchase from them. Its a IWB tuckable holster for a Shield 2.0 with a TLR-6

edit: They are also a NC based company

Try Bravo Concealment holsters. They can usually match the pistol with the particular light you're using.
They did mine for my Sig P320 and TLR4-G. Absolutely perfect.
These are Kydex holsters.
Good luck and stay safe.

Yeah, I have looked at the DARA website and priced a couple variations out but was also looking for others to compare price & features

Don't have a TLR6 on my Shield, but I do have a LaserMax light/laser combo. And I like the Crossbreed Founder's Series IWB. CrossBreed(R) Holsters Founders Series Freedom Carry Gun Holster They also make it for the Shield with the TLR6. In the picture, the barrel of the pistol extends below the Kydex, but that is not the case with the Shield. So I modified it a little by trimming off the leather below the Kydex with an X-Acto knife. That length of leather wasn't needed since the barrel of the Shield does not extend beyond the Kydex. I cut it as shown along the red line. That modification made it very comfortable to wear.

Is it that new Gripsense Technology laser/light combo?

Yep, that's it. I got the green laser. Bright enough for full sun.

How do you like it? I was looking at that one but I couldn't find enough information about it when I was deciding on a light so I went with the most cost effective option.

Do you use the 'instant on' feature or strictly as a manual light? Is the green color of the light helpful or does it just seem gimmicky?

I think the slight green tint of the light is very effective. Not sure how bright the red laser is, but the green one is super bright. The light is very bright, too. I'm not sure whether it would be best used with the gripsense, or manually, but I do have it set to come on by itself. One less movement with the trigger finger. And I found myself hunting for the button to turn it on. Not good in a real situation. So I'd say set it to come on with your grip. You have a choice of steady or strobing laser. The light does not strobe.
